Description Description The Easy Walk® KITE is our paediatric AFO with a posterior spring, designed to accept high loads in patients with manageable symptoms of crouch, low tone or apropulsive gait. The matched progressive stiffness of the footplate allied to the whole systemic spring rate of the complete AFO system, creates a unique passive dynamic orthosis. Its construction allows the shank to be stabilised leading up to temporal mid-stance and to progress into inclination in those with motor abilities. KITE achieves this whilst providing energy return through appropriate shell, ankle and foot sections in late stance. The front shell wings design allows frontal plane control where required.
